Kris Humphries smashes a backboard, inconveniences an NBA practice

Kris Humphries is indeed still in the NBA, you’ll be warmed to note, and the Atlanta Hawk forward is enjoying a rather Kris Humphries-like season, at least in per-minute terms: 3.5 points and three rebounds in 10.5 minutes per game, no starts. The 31-year old, thankfully, has been out of the news cycle for a few years following his reality TV turn, and because he is four years too young to be able to toss his hat in the presidential ring, Kris Humphries is having to make his mark in other areas.

On Saturday, he decided to delay Atlanta Hawks practice briefly by breaking the backboard of the practice rim the team was using at a high school gym in Santa Monica. Always a team player, Humphries attempted to send the team home early with either a slam or (as an equal educated guess would justify) a poorly-aimed jumper:
